My Lovely Family

Family is the basic unit of human society. For you see all of us have some type of contact with the unit we call the family. At all times within our lives we are part of a family. In my family there are four members, a father , a mother, a sister and of course me.

My papa is a large man. He has a round bald head with his ears being the dominate feature. You
Would think his face was cut from stone as his expression never changes. But you can tell if his mood is happy by the twinkle is his eyes. From years of manual labor his arms and chest are large with muscle.
My father works hard and has many friends. They share the same interests, the local bar and lots of beer. My mother says that my father is always spending his money drinking and buying drinks for his friends. So I think my father must also be generous.

My mama is always ready to appear on the cover of Cosmopolitan. Her hair is always perfect in appearance and her make up is flawless. From the morning when I first see her until the night when I sleep, this is her appearance. I wonder if she ever sleeps and that is why her appearance is so perfect. I have heard many say that my mother is very beautiful, but as for me, she is my mother.
My mother has a large circle of friends. This circle is so large that they call themselves a Woman’s Club. They are always working on some project to make the world a better place. Last year it was a fund raiser to help orphan children have a nice dinner for the holidays. My mother does not work out side of the house. But she seems always to be busy with Club members and new projects. It is like the telephone receiver has been permanently attached to her ear. My father often remarks on how my mother spends money on these world saving projects, so I think she is also generous.

My baby sister is, well she is my baby sister. Where I am slight, my sister is well nourished. My mother says it is because my father makes more money now and consequently we have more and varied food on our table for meals. Frankly speaking, I think it is because she likes chocolate which she eats all the time.
As for my sister she has only a few friends and with those they always seem to be complaining about all the other people in the world. My sister thinks that she is the most important person in the world. She spends a lot of time on her homework. I think that she is frugal and a good money manager. When she loans me money she always charges interest and expects to be paid on time. My father says she will be a good banker.

And finally there is a non-human member of our family and that is our cat names Misty. Misty seems to have no other purpose in life other than to eat and sleep. Of course she fulfills all her biological needs but it does not seem to be the reason for her living only a result of her living. My father tells me that she must be a hard worker as our home has never experienced a rodent infestation of any kind.
For Misty life is a life of sleeping and eating. And in this portion of life she does very well. She eats well as evidenced by her weight. And I once timed Misty and she can sleep 19 hours a day. So I think that she is a perfected sleeper.

And final member of the family is me!!! And because I am so different from all my family members I think that maybe I am adopted. Where my sister is large, I am small. Where my father is stoic I am emotionally charged. Where my mother is so well groomed, I look like I just slept in my clothes in a local septic tank. Further I am not large like my father. No one has ever called me beautiful like my mom. And to be honest I hate chocolate. I really think I am adopted.
As for my traits, I am a boy. And the work of my personality is a work still in progress. I seek neither to be like my father nor my mother. I desire to be an individual with my own qualities and habits. I do not wish to spend all my time in bars and clubs. I desire to work, but not to save the world. And I will look for good in all people I meet. And for my looks, what can I say, I am a boy. And I am probably adopted.
